NEPA Pet Fund & Rescue Foster Application
Northeast PA Pet Fund & Rescue was founded in August 2013. Our mission is rescue and animal welfare advocacy. We work daily to end neglect, abuse, cruelty, and exploitation of animals, ensuring that their interests and well-being are humanely protected as we work to end the 125-year old failed practice of euthanizing 4 million pets annually in America.
We require that all dogs/cats (including indoor cats) in the home are current on vaccinations (rabies and distemper vaccines are required for dogs and cats and a bordetella vaccine is strongly recommended for dogs), are currently on heartworm prevention (dogs) and are routinely tested for heartworm disease, are spayed/neutered, and have been seen by a vet for yearly visits. If you are uncertain about your pet’s status, please contact your vet before proceeding. Applications with pets not meeting these criteria will not be approved.
*All fields are required: If a question does not apply to you (i.e. Landlord), please write N/A. If application is incomplete, it will not be considered.
Once you submit your application, please be patient with us. The person reviewing your application is a volunteer who works a full-time job and processes applications in their spare time, as quickly as they can and we do understand that you are excited to welcome a new best friend into your family. However, we ask that after you submit your application that you do not inquire about the application progress prior to one week of submission. Please understand that it takes valuable time away from the review process to respond to each inquiry. If you do not hear back from us within one week, then, please feel free to call or email inquiring as to the status to your application.
IMPORTANT: Please be certain to complete all fields within the application as best as possible. You must click submit at the
end of the application for us to receive it. Thank you!
